Example of brands looking for innovative collaboration in marketing. Budweiser bottled 644 specialized, customized bottles each with a number representing all the goals Messi has scored as a member of Barcelona. Then, shipped the corresponding number to the goalie Messi scored on. I’m sure some guys smashed the bottle on the ground but it caught my attention. I think these were traditionally referred to as publicity stunts but with the rise in social media a PR stunt is now global. Not sure what this means for marketing in 2021, but wanted to share.
